Song of the day: David Soul - Don't give up on us.

Lyrics. Plain beautiful. A good song to dedicate to your girl in case you have a rough patch in your relationship. The old classic video as seen here is just EPIC! . Love the plain awesomeness. David soul sings beautifully though some reason why, a little more feel would serve better. I'd like Jonathan Rhys Meyers make a cover to this song.

Alltogether amazing :)

Song of the day: The Cult - Painted on my heart.

Addictive. Classic. Arguably the classiest break-up song ever! You can keep singing it over and over again..

Gosh! I'm actually singing it in my head right now. Lyrics are cute :D

Pure. Awesomeness. :)

Song of the day: Biohazard - Cycle of Abuse.

The music. Is. Great. The solo, the chorus. Everything is just outright beautiful. Its an earworm but screw.. I don't mind singing it over and over again. I got this song like 7-8 years ago from my cousin brother. Never heard much of Biohazard except this and Dogs of War and a couple of others. But on an overall. Beautiful music.

Name of the album is cute :D

Here's a link.

Song of the day: Puddle of Mudd - Piss it all away.

Cuz sometimes ye need to piss it all away. Just flush it all down the toilet. Cuz the song is brilliant. Psychedelic-Grunge-ish. You can shout it. You can Sing it. You can just plain enjoy the music. Lyrics make little connection. But talking about hatred and substance abuse in general. :P

Nice album art.

And cuz I'm angry and could break your skull right now! \m/

Song of the day: Julia Marcell - Carousel.

What work. :) Sweet lyrics. Well created music. She likes to call the genre 'Classical Punk' cuz.. classical be her intentions and punk because of the execution. Lyrics are the real striking chord here. Beautiful Lady too xD

Nice album name. "I Might Like You".

Song of the day: Bullet For My Valentine - Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow.

Metalcore that gets your adrenalin rushing. Sweet solo.. Superman-ish .. But sweet anyway. Lyrics make you wanna smash heads. Its just pure passionate music created with a love for the genre. I've always liked the band. The vocals are just right. Probably took some time to produce. You'll like the solo more every time you listen to it.

Song of the day: Brad Paisley (ft. Alison Krauss) - Whiskey Lullaby

Cuz hearts break. And it hurts. And a mans gotta deal with it the way a mans gotta deal with it. True . Beautiful. And Delightful. Never really liked Alison Krauss but she din't screw this one up like "Please Read the Letter" . Phew. Brad Paisley sings like a bloody angel. Totally deserves to be the song of the day. :) Also, The video is amazing :D

Mud on the tires.. Makes you think ..

Excellent. :)

Song of the day: Tracy Chapman - Fast Car

Mellow. Sweet. Cute. :)

Vocals are cute. But what I absolutely LOVE are the lyrics. Any other lyrics on this tune and you got a screwed up song. The vocals match. Soft-spoken melody. The lyrics are kinda heart melting. Cute is the first thing that hits my mind when i listen to this piece.

Peace. :)

Song of the day: Rod Stewart - Have I Told You Lately

Because its a classic love song. Many times we forget to tell our loved ones about the pleasure we derive from their mere existence , So here's a song describing it to them for us. A good deal for a lazy man with an upset girlfriend :P . The vocals are throaty but not bad on an overall. Smooth calm piano in the background which totally brings up the songs feel. Here's to a classic love song . :)

Cheers :)

Song of the day: Neutral Milk Hotel- Communist Daughter.

Because Jeff Magnum is a freakin' genius. Google it. And because his name is kinda awesome :P . Apart from which. What I love about the song (as well as the band) apart from the snazzy(and senseless, yet deep) lyrics is the simplicity with which it has been delivered to the ear. The vocals are soothing and the melody is comforting. We've seen this in O' Comely and Two-Headed Boy as well .. The simplicity and abstractness of the music. Love. :)

Also , The Vocals . Epic. :')

Song of the day: Queensryche - Another Rainy Night

Because Geoff Tate is kinda awesome. The vocals .(especially the chorus) chorus is addictive. Earworm-ish. It's irritating, sure .. but only during classes. The solo is OK. But on an over-all I think the song is good because the chorus is perfected. Lots of hard work gone into the song. One of those songs that make you a fan of a particular band.

Sucky album-art, though.

Song of the day: Haroldo Torrecilha - Dorme Mariana.

Now. I'm not a huge fan of Instrumentals. But this is special. This is for those extra bad days when you're half-depressed. This instrumental fills up your head till the time it is playing and really takes your mind off the whole sad part. And I personally like that a lot. Also because this artist has some talent . His other vocals are good. But for today. The song of the day is Dorme Mariana.

Name of the album is 'Muito Prazer' , which is Portuguese for "Very Pleased" .

Which is what I am. :)

Here's a link.

Song of the day: The Morning Benders - Excuses

Richness. The song holds a very definite richness in the recording itself. The vocals are nice. Catchy tune. Good Lyrics. The composer -Christopher Chu- has some good talent. Probably recorded with a lot of talented artistes. You could hum the tune for a long time. The song's first few lines featured in a Sony Advertisement.

Ta-dum-ta-dum-ta-dum!

Song's kinda popular so no link. Sorry.

Song of the day: The Ruse- Glow.

Only because the song holds a feel to it.. Something i find should be essential when making music. The rolling drums give a kind of of classic texture to the song. The song is not overdone .. It doesn't spring up a lot.. Slow and comfortable. The Ruse has a some talent. And this song is a symbol of that. Music with a feel to it. The vocalist is nice too. His voice has a "calm-pain" kind of attachment to it, something that accentuates the feel of the song.

The song ain't so popular so I'm gonna give up a link.

The Album name is cute xD

The deal!

Now what on earth is this about, eh?

In all my random-ness i realized that there is one special thing that I'd like to share with folks everyday. It may be a song or a movie or a disease for that matter. I've been doing song of the days on my facebook status a lot lately and just thought I'd give it some space to grow So here goes a blog that underlines the deal of the day.

Cheers.

Will start tomorrow.. Cuz i'm not so well :(

Cheers anyway :)
